What are the consequences of not dealing with weight regain after weight loss surgery?
If you do not address weight regain after you have had weight loss surgery, you may go back to your usual weight. Some people gain more weight than they have lost.
Weight regain especially after weight loss surgery has a serious impact on psychology and self-esteem. In addition, with increasing weight, you are likely to develop weight related medical problems like type 2 diabetes, sleep apnoea, hypertension and other medical problems.
